The literary contest “Tell Me About Tarapacá” offers an exciting opportunity to celebrate written creativity and strengthen the connection with the Tarapacá region. This contest invites young talents to discover and refine their literary skills, transforming their ideas into captivating and lively stories.
Through this literary initiative, participants are encouraged to express thoughts, emotions, and narratives that reflect the culture and identity of the region, harnessing the transformative power of words.
Students had the opportunity to participate in three categories: Tarapacá in 100 Words, micro-stories, and short stories. The works were evaluated by an independent committee from Arturo Prat University, composed of literature experts deeply committed to the region’s identity.
This contest was presented as an ideal space for young people to freely and authentically share their visions of northern Chile through creations that astonish and offer a unique opportunity to contribute to the enrichment of Tarapacá’s cultural heritage.
